Hi there!

Hello all, I've just bought a beautiful little 1982 mk1 golf GL 1.5 5 door. Pictures will be posted soon. I got her for £1950, its in really good condition with hardly any rust and has been polished like no tomorrow. The owner nearly was really sad to see her go.
The only downside is that the engine is a little weak, so I think I'm just going to get a different one. I don't really know where to get my hands on one so could anybody help me?

but best and cheapest way to get you bhp up is to get new piston rings fitted if you get over sized rings you can rebore you car and it will make it around 1700cc without any chances on your log book etc

I live in Sandringham, I can't make any meetings at the moment as I've taken her off the road to sort out her engine. Do you know anywhere where I can get my engine refurbished?
