Hey there people,
just thought it was about time I actually signed up to the site and introduced myself rather than just hanging around as a guest, I started driving recently and have started my driving life with a mk4 polo and it's been great. Then a couple of weeks ago I dragged myself many miles up to telford for Ultimate Dubs and found myself going alll googly eyed at the stunning mk1 golfs at the show. what can I say, I'm hooked! Now all I can think of is what I'd do to one if I can ever get hold of one lol! I think I'm addicted so….

Best advice is to take you time, there are some excellant examples out there. Also good buyers guides on this site for tintops and floppies.

well really I'm after a series one or just one with the rearlight conversion, but hey I may as well want the moon lol! I'm always trawling through the usual places… Ebay, pistonheads, autotrader and of course here but my timing is always rubbish so some other lucky sod has picked them up b4 me *muffled sounds of annoyance* . That's life tho I've just gotta keep my eyes peeled, if you guys know any other good places to look let me know.  8)
