HI Not New but New GTI owner!
Just bought myself another mk1 gti.
this one is a lhasa green in pretty much concourse condition with a few added additions like black arches removed, different lights and alloys.
anyway i will be changing a few things on it so here's a taster of what i have bought.

Yes i may do that but i thought that projects was more for people who start from a base car rather than one thats already been done to a good standard.
I am in beds area. i have a set of bbs splits to put on so will put them on and start snapping the cam. post some up later on so we can see a before and after shots.

Hard day today had to clear my shed to get the other wheels in there and then change 1 wheel at a time.
From this:
Results…i am amazedjust need to the suspension to settle now.
and sort out the horrible gearchange problem!

40mm drop on mine I think… looks like this:-
It is a bit hard when you hit something but the handling is better… is yours your daily driver? If so then I wouldn't go too nuts as like you say it'll be uncomfortable.

Do you think my car is the same height as yours, really hard to tell as you have the p slots.
This is not a dailey drive i will only use it when the weathers dry.
Your car looks immaculate!
