Hi I meet I guy called mk1john on here by chance on  a run to blackpool with a local vdub club he suggesed coming on here so here I am and this is the first mk1 I have owned hope you like Cheers Martin

hope the blackpool meet was a success, and we got home eventually, 7.5 hours insted of 2.5!

cheers guys I love the car I had been into aircooled vdubs for about 15years but had to sell them all due to credit crunch so I ended up getting the mk1 Soooo glad I did I just love it not had a buzz out of driving a vdub in ages until now just love it I think I am going to be mk1 owner for  while now

shes running a 1.5 at the mo but got plans for a g60 in the future :wink:
just cannot justify it at the mo as it does 80mph no problem and is doing about 37mpg
