Hi, new here. My mk1 20vt.

Hi everyone. I signed up here a while ago when I was first looking for a Mk1 Golf but haven't posted much as you can tell!

I'm 21 and my last 2 cars were Mk2 Golfs (I know that's swearing to some people ) when this popped up for a very reasonable price.

Purists may hate it I'm afraid!

I have the badged grill waiting to go on so it's nearing looking how I want it a bit more  

Oh, engine! It's a BAM coded TT lump so 225 standard. However running dta management, the previous owner placed a switch which changes it from 150bhp 150lbsft to 255bhp and 270lbsft. Can be a bit of a handful  

I've probably forgotten loads so any questions feel free to ask.

I know it;s not to everyones tastes so I'm sorry if it offends

Yep, hopefully.  We have regular region meets mar-nov, the first show in the county is in April in Stansted.  Keep an eye on the regional meets!

Thanks for the welcomes. Insurance is 910 full comp with adrian flux. They had a bit of a mare with my mk2 2.0 conversion and this one came out mega cheap! Happy days
