hi just a quick hello

this is my new toy for summer had it 8 months i was looking for a tin top but went to see this for the hell of it as its geting hard to find a good solid mk1 and this is a fun old car a deal wes done .in the past i have had a fair few mk1 golfs and mk1 sciroccos so when looking for a new toy a mk1 was top of my list.

hi mate i am in the glasgow  area and the wee car is not mint but not bad for the age and money spent so far when i got the car it was t&t but had some faults most due to age like my self first thing was i fitted gas shocks & front inserts 4 standard springs strut top mounts track rod end then a set of retro looking 15in ronal wheels not in photo the ones in the pick are 16in and fit well so i can carry a full load still to fit new gear linkage and poly eng+g-box mounts not had the time yet got a mot when it was due no probs so back in the garage till the sun comes out

Very nice. Always wanted another mk1 golf, was thinking originally about getting a tintop GTI but more and more thinking about getting a cabrio thanx to lovely cabrios like this one on this site
