hi im new to golfs :)

hi everybody,
yesterday i got a mk1 golf as a little driver/project, i started pulling it apart and found some root/rust at the rear and the rear lights seem abit faulty and there is a mojor oil leak from the car.

hope to get some helpfull hints and advise from you all

hi there its a 1.3 ive think i know what it is now think its teh sump plug leaking now sure why

Your new Golf is just marking it's territory!   Hopfully a tighten up of the sump plug will sort it for now. If you're changing the oil anytime soon though, you should change the sump plug washer at the same time.  :wink: Any pics of the car in its current state?  :mrgreen:

the current state is the rat look previous owners choice, but i have already started my little project with it im gonna spray the inside myself put all new carpet ect and spray round the insides of the doors the inside is fully primerd up atm im not man enough to to the outside spraying so im gonna leave that to teh pro's.

The idea is to get it white and looking like a gti with bumpers again and really its got little bits of rust but its mainly mint
