hi i'm newly converted!!

Just converted to VAG from jap scrap bagged myself a mk1 gti in mars red, its a 1.8 8v with a 2.0l audi 80 bottom end, cams, and probably more.  All i'm certain on is that its fepping epically fast (quicker than my 200sx and both my civic vtis) and that i love it.  Still needs some fettling, stupid little things, but all very cheap and easy to fix overall i'm amazed by this little car,  makes me wonder why i didn't get one years ago!  Anyway i'm Greg 21yrs, i live in suffolk, electrician by trade, and officially a golf mk1 convert!!!

Glad to have both of you as part of the club!!  My mk1 doesn't ever stop me from grinning.  Had a 1.3 as a kid and that was quick… but my 1.8 gti is awesome!!!!  best power to weight ever and handles superb!!

Hope to catch up with both of you at some point!!
