Thought i'd join as i have just purchased my mk1 which i am due to collect monday..

Its a 1.6 81' golf gti the colour is Inari silver which was a special order colour between 79-82 so pretty rare..no sunroof
127k full service history, it was kept in a family for all its life i am the third owner.
the interior is mint no bolster wear and has only got surface rust on the tailgate and rear arch..

all in all it cost me ?700 with 6 months tax and mot till may next year.





its the third mk1 i have had and couldnt turn it down! my mk2 is off the road for 16vg60 conversion ready for next years show.

this being the mk2 in question which won vw players car of the show at g werks last month.
