Hi from Norway!

Ever since I borrowed a friend's Mk1 GTI when I was younger, I've wanted to have a Mk1 of some kind. As we are in the middle of a big house renovation I figured a Caddy would be perfect, and after some searching I found a decent one last year. It's a 1987 model which had been parked for several years, so it had some issues. I replaced all the brakes, brake lines, filters, cleaned out the tank, got it running and MOT-ed.

I'm also into Hot Rods, so I'm thinking of replacing the engine with something more fun than the 1.6, but that'll have to wait until the house is finished… So for now it's (mostly) a daily driver for me, with room in the back for building supplies. I say mostly because the lovely Pierburg carb decided to die on me! Anyways, I'll start a separate thread about this issue in the correct forum, just wanted to introduce myself first. Paal

Thanks guys! I'm not ready for a build thread quite yet, first I need to get the car running again  I just posted a question in the big block forum about the carb, so hopefully that will help!
