Hi from Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Sort of mk1 Golf it is acutally a MK1 Caddy, 1.6 TD, 5 speed gearbox, coilovers on the front flipped axle on the back, just going through and bare metal respay and rust removal. should be finished for spring/summer this year.
I own my own Garage so might be able to help when needed, advice is alway free.

not trying to make a show winner, just a pick up I can use every day and no rot away in a couple of year, should be a good advert for my garage aswell

yea should look smart with a sign on the side what sorta work does your garage do (free plug)

everything MOT class 4 5 and 7, cars, vans, trucks, diagnostics, tyres, 4 wheel alignment, service, repairs, conversions etc.

Nice to see another diesel join the ranks, and from North Yorkshire aswell. You can't beat a bullet-proof old VW diesel engine, there's sod-all to go wrong! Well, a lot less than a modern engine anyway… Mine's still on the original n/a 1.6 diesel engine, 5 speed.
Keep up the good work! We all like a nice Caddy. I've got the same steel wheels on my Golf and got some spare centre caps and nut caps if you need any.  :wink:
