Hi there.. im ment to be picking up  a 1981 mk1 golf gti on saturday so thought i'd join this forum.. am doin a deal wi my 95 celica and the guy seems really keen but i've still to inspect the golf…..if the deal doesn't happen i'll be buying one anyway…  last few years all i've drove is jap motors which i love, but ive also owned 2 mk1s a few years ago and fancy another   I'll post pics up saturday if i get it!!!!!

Yeah the buying guide should help.  There's a mass of people joined recently from Scotland buddy.  If you do pick it up then you may want to entertain the regional meetings they have  :dontknow:
