Hi from Basingstoke with pics

Hi again everyone joined here a month or so ago well finally got myself a MK1 cabrio. think it was a good buy too. Saw it on ebay i was the only bidder so got it for £650 years mot. Mind it was in the back of the blokes garage covered in dust and overspray where he does motorbikes up. Got it home cleaned her up and looks so good. Taxed it today so hapy days!!!.
First job is roof which should hopefuly be done next week.
anyway here are the pics, what do you think?

Yeah it really suprised me when he took it out of the garage, it has 3 small bits of rust 1 by pasanger door handle and the other on the back apart from that just the normal wear for a 22yr old car.

marksobar, where did you order roof from? vinyl or mohair and can i ask how much you are paying supplied and fitted ?

or is it just a fitting price and you ordered room ya self?

hi the roof is from http://www.carhood.com/ £325 fittd thats for vinyl i think she said an extra £100 for mohair.

ah scrap the last question just spoke to hood company and the cable tesioners are included!!!

LOL just in case anyone wants to know looking at how the hood sits over the sides of the front windows.They are baggy and should be flat down tight.
