Hi Everyone

Just registered with the site, hopefully picking up a MK1 GTi in a few days, its a black 2 owner from new car with 83k on the clock, its currently owned by a VW main dealer and was used as a show piece in their showroom until it was put into storage a few years ago, it has a sunroof, tints and a dealer fitted from new Hella grille. It is owned by one of the directors of the company and he has put quite a few new VW spares in the boot before they went out of stock from VW. It will be company in the garage for my other relic ………….a 1977 TR7 which replaced a concours MK2 RS2000 that I sold recently, Escort prices and parts went silly and I couldn't justify having it sitting in the garage. That should leave just enough room for my GSXR750K8 which is now in Winter hibernation. Hope to detail the GTi back to a nice original condition over the Winter months but I am also restoring/building a MK1 bubble arched Escort to a very high spec for a friend, I'm retired and he works a lot !!

Anyway, all the best and hopefully some pics below of my fleet.

Well guys would you beleive it has taken until now to get round to collecting this car, pulled it out of storage last week at the main dealers where it has sat for 5 years, hopefully its valeted now and will be picked up on Monday and moved to my garage.

As for the other vehicles mentioned above, the GSXR was sold cos it never stops raining, the TR7 is bare shelled and under going a full concours body rebuild, I bought another TR7 but a V8 one , tis one will donate its running gear to the green one and then be scrapped, still have my MK5 but it gets little use, my mates MK1 Escort is still ongoing but it has been joined by another 8 Escorts , some all the way from Oz.
