Hi everyone, sorry for the belated introduction

Hi everyone,

Been on for a couple of months but never introduced myself as I didn't have a photograph of my car & thought it would pointless.  I've got a mk1 Golf Clipper 91.  I'm not to sure how to post an image to this but if you want to see her, go to

I still have quite a bit to do but getting there.  It's just trying to find the parts with living in Northern Ireland, not as easy as I thought    but I'll get there in the end… I hope.

If you save your pics as jpg format, uploat them to flickr or photobucket and then right click and do "properties" you will see the web hosting address for it…. copy that and then in your post put at the end.  So the code of this:-

will turn into this when you submit it.



Save a jpg pic, upload and try it  :wink:

Hi there,

At the moment, I just want to get the car back into shape & how it would of looked standard.  The guy I bought it of put in a cd/radio player which doesn't really do much for the car.  So basically looking for a radio & the other thing is a black hood cover/tonneau.

I was wondering as well, is there suppose to be a small VW badge on glove box?  Just I seen a video on you-tube of a mk1 clipper & it had one on it  :?

Id say the VW badge on the glovebox is an aftermarket accessory.

Tonneau covers come up for sale now and again. Check parts for sale on site or good ole eBay!

I thought the same but it does seem likes it's suppose to be there.  I seen it in this video while looking for parts on google

Yeah seen it too, as well as two grey ones.  Don't think the blue would suit a black car though unfortunately.
