Hi everyone I am soon to get golf mk1!

Hi all buddies, Last sat went to look a white Golf Driver , all look good but need lot of work to be roadworty so need a trailer, anyone know a good trailer service? I need to pick from Fakenham to St Albans, my home town.

sorry cant help with the trailer, but get some pick up when you get your car.
Loads of build threads on the site which will give you all sorts of advice.

TheLunchCrasher on the site has a trailer, do not know prices etc
but could be worth a pm to him.

also I'm just outside St.Albans ,  so if you need help give me a shout.

Thanks guys, I did book http://www.sjvehicletransportation.co.uk/ has quote of £175 to pick from Fakenham to St Albans

Not bad, now put Mk1 in garage for now, It has electric probelm the keep fan spinning all time, I just unplug it to stop it. :banghead:

As for the fan running all the time, check they havent bypassed the therm switch at the bottom right of the rad.
If that switch is still there put a continuity meter to it, if you get a voltage through it when its cold then Id swap for a new one.

Good opertunity to flush the coolent system and put some fresh coolent mixture in.
