Hi everybody!
Ive joined this forum as I'm trying to get back to my youth, Mk1 16v in 1988, but the project I have now is the 20v turbo motor in an '84 Mk1 Golf GTI.
Got the motor and cable box (need an 020) plus most bits and bobs but missing a few items (engine mounts, non fly-by-wire throttle plus lots of info and common sense!!) so need to learn fast but this site seems to be a real Aladdins cave of knowledge on mk1's so I'm here to learn!!
Really trying not to use the hammer too often!

welcome to the site and i can already see it will be very usefull to you.
you shuold startby having a look through the modifications section then ask a few questions, you'll soon get loads of answers,
maybe start a "project" thread too.
