Hi Everybody!

Hey there,

Just thought I'd say a quick hello and introduce my car.

I recently purchased a 1979 1.1L model for the princely sum of just over ?200.  As you may guess at that price, it needs some work, but it's taxed and MOTed til July.   It's not been on the road for almost two years though.

The plan is to just generally tidy it up, and leave it at that.  I'm on a very tight budget (as my other cars are taking up way too much money).  It's also going to get  abit of a drop (just springs so nothing major - and nothing that can't be put right in an hour!), and a set of wheels put on it (the originals need to come off for a refurb anyway).

I'll get some pics up ASAP.

There's currently an active thread following the progress (or lack of it at the moment over at; http://retrorides.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=1140272090 ).  I'll get off my butt soon and start a thread on here as well.

It doesn't look too bad in that photo, but don't be fooled, it's a bit grotty in real life!
