Hi Another Newbie from Essex..

hello all just joined the world of mk1 golf……. just passed my driving test…..doh….. at 36….maha… and got my self a clipper on a 89 (F) plate as a project for a amazing ?25.00 passed its MOT straight away just had to adjust drivers headlight having a few teething probs with engine at the moment but im sure ill get there in the end ! will be looking at getting it resprayed  next year same colour  as ive gotta do my kids Christmas… first… :dontknow:  just seen that there is a show next week but will not be able to go  as    ill be working hopefully next year …. anyone got any tips ?
for me as its my first car…. misses says its a banger but my son has called  it little beauty    or was it me…hehe any way nice to be part of the club..

The Mk1 Golf Owners Club

The car was sent over from France for respray and he knocked my mums BF for quite abit of money so he was gonna send it breakers and get it crushed into a cube…!!! and send it back to him with the number plate  attached… been off the road since 2004 so just payed for the log book to be sent off ?25
well happy as good runner once warmed up lol lumpy on cold start and little bit smokey will do a respray on it and try to keep it as original as possible  will be up for November meet just let me know where and when….
