Hey Guys n Gals!
i'm a frequent user of clubpolo and polog40 forums.
now i've aquired myself a mint mk 1 golf (been sitting in a garage for 10 years!)
got 70ish k on it, metallic burgundy colour. hardly any rust on it whatsoever! great find!
i shall get some pics up for it some time soon. and a few pics of the g40.
just wanted to say hello.
Will be getting the golf on the road soon as my g40 decided to disentegrate no1 con-rod bearing, so need the golf to mosey on about in till the g is fixed.
Have already had a little browse through the forum and it looks like a great place for information.
If anybody lives near me (Twickenham) and needs a hand with anything i'm  not a stranger to a spanner and will be happy to help out for beer monies or some mk 1 bits! lol
