Hi all!

Hey, just joined and paid up for a year. Only had the car a few weeks and been to a VW show in Bury St Edmunds! I always wanted a GTI back in the day but could never afford the insurance (being a poorly paid urk in the RAF). Finally got one, yippee!!! Loving every minute of driving it with the roof down.

got a new hood from a mate (not fitted yet) and looking to get the bodywork done soon before the winter sets in. Already bought new tyres, Starter motor, plugs, points etc.. having the cam belt done by a VW engineer next week along with some wheel  bearings and brake pads. New polished tip back box exhaust to fit aswell, then I can concentrate on the outside!

Anyway, enough waffling, hi to you all!

lol i wondered if it was just the lens or something! What colour is it getting resprayed? was the meet held at a vw dealer then?
