Hi all new cabriolet owner

Hi all my name is Alan  Ive just bought my first mk1 golf after having a hankering for one for some time. Ive been into Volkswagens for well over twenty years, mainly air cooleds, beach buggys, bajas, nothing standard you get the picture.
Bought this one locally as a project, needs inner wheel arches, (done passenger side already), wings service and an Mot, its been resprayed badly, so once its running reliably, will get it in for a proper spray job. look forward to catching up with some of you at a show sometime. Regards Alan

& your nearest mk1 meet would be the Berks one which meet near Basingstoke.
