hiya guys. my name is JJ, im 19 and hopefully i should be getting a mk1 golf very soon as a long term project to strip and build.

i currently drive a jap beute, honda civic eg 1.3 lol.

anyway i hope to get alot of info from this forum and make new mates.

Welcome JJ. I'm new myself and have just put a deposit on my MK1 and I pick her up monday . It's a great feeling. I too own a Japanese Nissan NX 2L. Everyone on this forum so far is really friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to see some pictures of another young teen's project build. All the best mate.

Yeah, I am planning to use mine as a long term project/daily drive… I want to do most the work myself but I know there will be a lot that I don't want to get wrong so will just pay somebody to do it for me. Like engine conversion etc. Because I know I'd stuff up somewhere alone the way…

I am keeping my NX (for now) Only problem is that it is damaged and undriveable… So I have to rely on my good ol' MK1

You should pop down the white hart in Holyport on the 15th for the Berks mk1 meet.   Also there might be the odd mk1 at South Hill park on Sunday for the LTV VW meet.
