Hey folks, new mk1 owner!

Hey everyone!

Im on a few forums as have had a few VW projects over the years and also work for HIC Insurance so am often posting in the insurance sections….but thats not why i have signed up, i picked up my first mk1 yesterday!

The only pics i have on my pc at the moment where taken by the previous owner about 3 yrs ago (took a load more today but not had a chance to upload them yet!) but here it is:



Been of the road for approx 3 yrs but fired straight up with a fresh battery, quite a lot to do though!

Where did you get tyres with white walls !!??!!  I like 'em !!!

the white walls were already on the car when i got it, they are just inserts that attatch to your existing tyres. You can get them from places like Big Boys Toys for about £40 per set.
