Hey All...Midlands newbie

Hey all
Picked up my Lhasa green 83 Y reg Gti on friday.  First task was to brave the 3 mile tail back from abingdon, Oxford onto the m40 to get home in staffordshire..why do people crash when ime on the road…no respect.  Good test of the car tho…passed with flying colours.  Even managed a small race with my mate driving my 130bhp gt tdi after bassetts pole near Drayton manor.
My car is pretty well sorted apart from a sunroof problem…it had 1 then the lad decided he wanted it out and filled, this was all done in a day before a local VW dealer could use the car to launch the new shape 2.0 fsi gti, so the paint sank….here's my first question…do i keep it without a sunroof or fit another?
