hey all names alec but known as speedy to my mates
i own a 08 polo but i hear u ask why ask a polo owner joined a mk1 golf owners site well thats because i have a mk1 golf clipper cabrio that im fixing up and getting roadworthy again

I think you choosing an 08 polo as a daily while you fix your golf is a great idea! Wish I had that kinda money!

You should also post some pics of your progress, I'm sure everyone would be interested.

We hold a monthly meet every third wednesday of the month (this week its today, 20th august) normally a good turnout but probably not this week as a lot are away on holiday, detaisl o the meet can be found here The Mk1 Golf Owners Club its just uo th road from the M3 @hook

Might be an idea to get yourself a thread started in our cars and projects area. plus thats also a good place to look see for inspiration etc
