Help! Which insurance company?

Hi everyone,

I have to renew my car insurance for my mk 1 (which is soon to be repaired!)  I have been looking around to get an agreed value insurance policy, i am with adrian flux at the moment but have not been happy with them.
Could anyone recommend a good insurance company to use for mk 1's?

If yr a member we have just got some discounts with some insurance companys….I'm with Fotman James……for me they were really helpful….agreed sum even with car on driveway and no extra security!!

I went all round the houses last week trying to get the best deal. ?249.00 got me full comp, protected standard policy with 0% monthly payments of ?20.79.

?548 got me a classic policy, an agreed price of ?3500, capped at 7500 miles a year, garaged with no availability of monthly payments.

As I use the car every day and do over 7500 miles, more like 9000 a year in it (can anyone else say they have a 21yrs old daily driver?) I have had to take the first option and hope for the best!

Only tonight did I hear the sounds of skidding tyres behind me on the wet road as the bus in front pulled up unexpectedly!!!…. I had a picture of sods law sticking his head out of my bonnet saying in his best Harry Enfield…"Now I don't believe that you really wanted to do that" as a car rear ended me!
