Hellooooo
This is the my old MK1:
Regret selling that one .
Anyway I have a new project now so I'm sure I'll have a few questions as I have some ideas for it . It's another Cabby GTi, but is in quite a sorry state at the moment.
This is my 12th Golf in 4 years, can't get enough haha.
Cheers,
Curt.

12 Golfs in 4 years! I think that might be a record…
Whoever bought that black GTI Caddy got a nice car. Glad to hear you've got another one on the go.

Yeah it was a lovely car. Bought it for ?100 with a seized engine, dropped ?150 worth of engine in and and a new roof and sold it for ?1350. Really didn't want to sell it either, but it was desperate times financially . It was almost mint.
Well my current project is a '88 Cabby in white. It's not looking to good currently as I've stripped all of the bad bits off, and there's not much left! Will try and get some pics up over the weekend.
My plan is to possibly do a 2.0L bottom end conversion, as I have a complete engine and box sitting here. Is it worth doing as I have the bits? I believe a few bits need fabrication, dizzy spacer and blanking plate etc.
But it doesn't currently run, and I'm having fun figuring it out!

those wheels on your old golf are the same ones ive got on my golf, trying to find out what they are, have seen them on another golf with a badge or picture in the middle, & mine is missing, can you tell me anything about them plz? cheers Lou
Hey Lou .
I believe that they're Le Castellets, they either come in 14" or 15". They were 14's on my old one. Porshe D90's are quite similar and very niiice.
