Helloooo
I'm hoping to buy a Clipper/cabrio very soon (even in this soggy weather!)
I'm seeing a lot for sale with tears in roof…. am looking for help as to how much it costs replacing roof and where this can be done???
If theres anything else u can think of that I should be looking out for, then please enlighten me!
Also if anyone is selling a car please drop me a line. I am based in Cardiff.
Cheers,
Jay

As a member you'd get discounts from our sponsors - Car Hoods Northern Ltd (on the left of the screen). Well worth the ?15 membership fee along with loads of other discounts.
There is a buying guide on here which would help you but not sure if it extends to the cabby :dontknow:
Welcome to the site. Where are you based? Maybe get yourself to a regional meeting (check the regional section) to find out more on what to look out for.
Hope you enjoy browsing the site and good luck with the purchase,
James

Excellent choice buying a cabby! 8)
You can bring the cost down of replacing the roof by buying the bits and fitting it yourself.
Hubby did mine a few years ago with the help of Ross's replacement guide on here. Took him through doing it step by step, and although time consuming he had no problems.
I'll find the link
