New to the forum, as needing some advice on my engine conversion.

I have a mk1 golf that I am just putting an AFH on twin 40s into, and a polo 6n which has been my runaround whilst working on the golf. Only got the old 1.3 out last night, so next step is rebuilding the carbs, head gasket and figuring out the fuelling system (unsure of which pump and regulator to go for)

Had the Mk1 for 5 years now, and have completely overhauled it to a nice creamy old english white. Pretty low, was sitting on 13" Revos (now stolen for the Polo so mk1 has some lovely Polo steels) but I am just saving some cold hard cash for some 14s, hopefully Image.

Err thats it really. Be nice! I don't know much but I am getting there  8) Any advice would always be greatly appreciated.

im not really a mechanic so cant advise on the engine conversion side of things but best of luck finishing it off and look forward to seeing you at some meets
