hello

Hi just joined ,been a fan of all things golf for sometime.Ive got two golfs a W reg indiana red GLS and a G reg helios blue GTI cabby. Had the cabby for about five years now but shes been dormant in the garage for the last three and the gls is my weekend runabout.
Just started a full restoration project on the cabby stripped her down to the shell gonna try and do all the work myself so wish me luck.

Welcome to the site NOONY, get some photos up of both cars and start a thread in restorations section for us to see how you get on with the cabby  :wink:

Will get some photos on as soon as i work out how to do it ,new to these forum things . I live in southderbyshire not far from burton on trent.

would love to come have a  look mate but dont think shes a worthy showcar good nick only done 37k but got a couple of battlescars (missus learnt to drive in her) ill get some photos on tommorow

Welcome Noony. Looks like you got a nice pair of MK1's there.

You don't have to have a mint 'show' car to join in - it's always been a club philosophy that as long as it's a MK1 Golf, it can go on a show stand. Don't be shy, get it on there!!

Latest addition to the Midland Festival of Transport….Noony, welcome Noony  :clap: . As Hairyarse said, as long as it's a mk1 it's a show car in the clubs eyes, I'll sort out the forms you'll get passes in the post in the next 3 weeks :y:
