I used to have a MK2 GTi 8V, progressed to a atlas grey MK1 2L 16v, then smuggled in a MK2 GTi G60 from Switzerland;



Fell in love with the engine but missed my MK1 so now have the above and the below;





Both are a bit tweaked :wink:

Spot on.  They are his pics Saw it at G-Werks open day and was impressed, came up for sale teh Feb after and I bought it.  Owned it for a year now.  I've put in a new box with VR6 ratios and a quaife atb lsd, some more bracing, it is about to get some red injectors, a new ecu, 65mm pulley and a mocal oil cooler.  It is nippy.

that's near enough the same as what i'll be running

but with water injection, p&p head, 83mm je pistons, piper g60 cam
