Hello!

Hiya, site looks great, I'm sure I'll be spending lots of time here. I did own a GTi until Thursday. It was pretty much standard and I loved it, I bought it for a track car. Unfortunately, after being a little 'enthusiastic' through an s bend, it went to play in the woods. I did try to avoid the trees and fence but I now know they don't handle anywhere near as well normal when they are upside down!!!  ops:  ops:  ops:

So whilst feeling sorry for myself on Thursday night I bought a new one! It's a well modded ex track/race car that was running 179bhp!!! Woo hoo!!! Collecting it on Saturday, i can't wait.

Sounds like you had a lucky escape!  Do you race in a championship or are you a track-dayer?
