Hi,

Just thought I should say hi as I'm currently in the market for a daily runner mk1 or….. dum dum dum…a polo GT (Funds are low after returning from travelling) and I've been following the very interesting threads on this site and the old one for (here comes the sad part) many years now!  

I have owned a mk1 in the past and know a fair amount about them and the rest of the VW family, but not as much as some peeps on here.

I would love to have around the 3K mark for a really nice mk1 but with starting work in London it just aint going to happen at least for a year or so.

Anyway, keep up the good work with a top website dedicated to one of the all time great cars to bless our land.

welcome evil' you can still find a good daily driver for a lot less than ?3k that would see you right until you could afford another or even a restoration to the one you buy. Polo GT's are ok if you have to slum it for a bit :wink:
