Also, tell us a little about yourself and a whole lot about your Mk1!

Thank you! Well I got hooked on the scene a couple years ago by my friends, I started off with a mk2 polo coupe! I loved that but I always deep down wanted a mk1, I wanted chrome!<br />
When this came up for sale it didn't have a lot of rust and paint work seemed good so I went for it! Since then i'v just cleaned up the engine bay, few bits of rust and paintwork here and there. got it sitting low on some bbs rs's and am now forever adding bits when I can. The main plan is for it to have the seats all re trimmed in the next month and for it to go for a re-spray at the end of the year
Thats an awesome cabby you got there by the way!

Thanks Billy!

You know if you're looking at buying some parts and bits and want to save a few quid then being a 'Paid Club Member' would be very useful for you and you get your money back over and over again!

All the advertising down the left side are the approved suppliers for the club.  They're all been vetted and offer a wide range of discounts.

Not only that but you get discount at the club shop and a whole host of other stuff to boot!

Welcome,
I like the cabby looks very Tidy. Yep there's always something to do on these cars.
As pointed out for parts discounts there are also some discount schemes with Insurance providers too.
Plenty of knowledge on here and the google search box is a must for researching.
Enjoy and hopefully get to the AGM at Uttoxeter too.
cheers
