Hello

Hi all, I used to own a mk1 cabrio 1.6 when I lived in Germany. I've always loved Golf mk1's and I'm going to purchase one in August. I'm going to be looking for a mk1 gti 1.8 16v tin top, as original as possible, but I can cope with a few mods, ie- lowering etc. Any colour except white.  Looking to spend £2600 max.

Hopefully I can acquire some good advice from the forum members.

not sure if you will fine a 16v one as this is a conversion that people carry out

but there are plenty of 8v about
