Hello

Hello to all you fellow mk1 owners

I'm the latest newbie so thought I'd say hi and tell you a bit about myself/ my golfs.

I'm the proud owner of 2 mk1 cabbies!  Always loved the shape of them and ended up buying my first one back in 04 - a black clipper.  Really wanted a gti but this one was too good to pass up: 1 lady owner with only 89K on the clock!  how could I refuse….6 years later and she's still going strong as my daily driver.  The itch for a bit more power has always been under my skin though and last year I found an 81 gli with a 16v lump dropped in (thanks to ebay!!) which was pretty much everything I wanted to do to my clipper anyway, but the hard work mostly done… yes… it's what you would call an "unfinished project" any help or advice would be very welcome.  Will try and get some pics up soon.
