hello

hi there im new to the hole car restoration thing im looking fir a mk1 to fully restore and i was wondering what i should look for and how easy they are to work on the engine

hi , welcome to the site , i'm no mechanic but mk1's are good to work on , buy a haynes manual and ask for advice / tips on here .
also read the buyers guide and have a look at  other peoples  project threads for inspiration .
