Hello vw world !!

Hi all my name is matt, i use to own a renault 5 gt and now in a week or so will be purchasing a mk1 golf 1.8 gti, red 1983. Always wanted a car that was registered the same year as my birth, strange i know lol.Very solid car considering its been sitting since 2005 and i will be the first to have it on the road since then. I plan to do a AGU 1.8t conversion before the years up so this site will be a jem, glad to hop aboard !!!

Hello mate, thanks yer got to love the 80's lol. im based in london.

Only ever had one car the same age as me .. a 1970 Escort Mk1 with a hole in the floor as big as my foot.
Died within two months, happy days!!
