Hi guys, my name is Chris, ive been lurking on here for a while now and thought its about time i should sign up.
Been a big fan of the MK1 for long time and i'm currently restoring my Golf at the moment.
Here's a few pictures of my car as i got it.










As you can see it's not in really bad shape but could definitely do with a tidy up.

Ok, so it's been a while since i last posted on here, thought i'd share a few pics with you of my golf since ive tidied it up a bit, let me know what you think.


















The car has had a full respray, new wheels and tyres, new roof, new front, side and rear lenses, new grille as well as lots of other little bits and pieces here and there.

I still need to get some new headlights, spotlights for the front and also would also like to lower it aswell.

Wow!  What a transformation!!!  Looks great  You thought about putting back in the chrome inserts for the side trims?  Think it'd really compliment the rims and clear lenses.

Oh my god!!!!  That's wicked mate!!!  What a result!!!!

nice car you have there mate, personal opinion is that it needs lowering a little

but nice all the same

Hi mate, beautiful car but  i'm not so sure about the tail lights. Have you tried to put back the original ones to see how it looks like ?
