Hello there... got pics
I'm a new member, and just thought i would officially introduce myself to you all.
I originally joined the website for a bit of advice about parts for my sportline, and have chatted to a few of the guys on here already, who, i have to say are all fantastically helpful and genuine people.
Anyway… enough of the praise…
I bought my car in feb '06, and, although i have rinsed a shed load of cash on it… I LOVE IT TO BITS!
We took it to newquay last summer for the ripcurl boardmasters week, and had THE best time ever! Driving around newquay with the top down, car full of mates armed with cornish pasties and surfboards sticking out from every angle… you can't beat it!
So here's a few photo's for you lovely lot to view / praise / criticise etc etc…
The car is standard apart from new sound system, fort knox alarm system, and big brake conversion (done by previous owner). It has done 82,000 miles and has been maintained and loved its entire life!
GET IN!
Ps/
Does anyone know how much i could ask for the car? There are some wierd prices about… i saw a black one on autotrader for ?5,200 around autumn time! Loathed to sell it… but… if the price is right and all that!

Not overly serious about selling the car at all. Have got far too much ??? 'invested' ??? in it already.
IF i were to sell it, then, yep, you're right… spring WOULD be the ideal time. Probably wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it though… with summer round the corner… i think it may be a continual viscious cycle.
Looks like i'm keeping it forever!

I'll have to turn that one down though… sorreeee!
I'm not really considering selling it at all… was just curious as to its value, that's all!
Have plans to go down to newquay AGAIN this summer, so will defo have to keep it for that.
May look in to buying a 2nd motor for next winter though as i do not like mucking the golf up!
Cheers for the appreciation guys!

Who knows… i may have been ever so slightly unstable, and jumped at the offer to have my pants pulled down…
THANK GOD I'M OF SOUND BODY & MIND! (well defo the mind, but not so sure about the body any more after the alcohol battering it's taken this winter). Ha!
Keep on treckin'!

always nice to see a well loved and looked after dub
keep it keep it cabs rule ( except in winter and the rain ) but its all worth it come the summer when everyone wants a lift and im always happy to oblige , summer topless fun lol
ok ref prices , friend of mine her boyf had a sportsline sold it coz nadine thought it was too impractical she demanded a mk4 i believe ( under the thumb ohh dear ) she was astonished that he originally paid 2k and sold it mid summer for 4.5k after doing nout but ragging the rear end off it and had 120k on the clock
and in the words of the great yoda "sell not me thinks car pretty it is"

CABS DO RULE! Ahhh… long hot summer nights… bring on the global warming! Ha!
?4.5K is tempting indeed, but i have rinsed a shed load on it, so will probs keep it! Don't like slapping the miles on it… or getting it durty for that matter (i'm a builder)… tempted to get a 2nd car… something a bit more practicle & cheap on insurance!
Any ideas…? Going to save up and get something after summer… i'm looking as cheap as poss by the way!
Do you go to any cruises at all? Your cab looks interesting… fancy posting a quick pic?
