This site is fab - unfortuantely, i have only just found it and i have today sold my mk1 !!!!!    the boyf talked me into selling it

I think i'm going to have to get another one quick smart!!!!!! :wink:

Get yourself a mk1, and a bloke who can spot a decent car when he see's one!! I'm on my first mk1 but i've had 2 mk2's and a g60 corrardo but i would nevr go back…..EVER

Oh dear oh dear, kerry why listen to your boyfriend  :cry: , i have a mk2 also everything done to it, so was looking for another vdub, many people had told me about the mk1 and what fun it gives, boy they were right, the wife found our mk1 and it is lots better to drive and enjoy.

Dougelove i don't think another girl is the answer, all grls are like it with all men…… and any grl who tells you otherwise is clearly telling a few porkie pies you will never be able to do anything right just like women never do anything right in mens eyes. Don't mean to be rude :roll: but If she's that bad leave her and stop moaning!!!!!!!!!  :dontknow: Everybody has their bad points - i'm sure your not perfect.

I've always thought that relationships are rather like the three laws of thermodynamics…

First Law: Energy Can Be neither Created nor Destroyed

Second Law: The disorder of an Isolated System always Increases

Third Law: The disorder of a Perfect system is zero at absolute zero

Translated into non techie speak this is…

1. You cannot win (that is, you cannot get something for nothing, because matter and energy are conserved).

2. You cannot break even (you cannot return to the same energy state, because there is always an increase in disorder; entropy always increases).

3. You cannot get out of the game (because absolute zero is unattainable).

See what I mean Doug? You can't win, you can't even break even, and you can't get out of the game! :wink:

It was my missus that actually talked me into getting the mark 1, as I was all for firstly getting a mark 1 Astra, then a mark 2 Golf. I'm glad she came up with a decent idea for once
