Hello new GTI 1.8 owner

Hello all!  I've known about this site for a short while when I was considering purchasing a Campaign.  It didn't happen but the register was extremely useful!

So..  I have a nice little GTI in Alpine White Y reg with a Webasto(sp?) sunroof, don't know much about these though and I'm the 10th owner! :?

My plans are to thoroughly restore it to former glory because it's a bit shabby.  

I am very into the "Factory Look", currently I also have a mk2 GTI + a G60syncro + R32 that all look factory.  But it's the Mk1 that I'm really looking forward to getting to grips with!

Nice array of cars you have there too. Can't be many G60 syncros around?

Not many Syncros especially in factory spec.

Yeah post some resto pics - I guess you'll be needing a new parcel shelf and fuel cap!

haha yeah I have a new parcel shelf but fuel cap to be sourced!  I also have a leather steering wheel ready to fit at the end!

I'm looking forward to it. 8)
