Hello- my project mk1

Hi all, bout time i got on here, am on just about every other vw forum! lol

Here is my mk1 project that i have just started- my boyfriend Steve gave it to me after neglecting it for the last year! Its been sat on the drive doing nothing, so ive adopted it!

Im planning big things for this car, it will more or less look like the dubmodder pic below when its finished.
It having a BRM motorsport GTi engine in it, courtesy of Steves crashed GTi and all the GTi bits to go with it. It currently has a 1.3 GT engine in on twin carbs but that is going in Steves mk1 polo.













Can you get mk1 owners club stickers for your window?

Also, was planning on doing the car toenado red as i dont like mars red. Loadsa people say it wont suit, what do you think?

Oh and how do i make my sig work!?

Edit: I noticed you're trying to attach a pic to your sig. I think you can only put text in you sig and the pic should go in the avatar.

Mine looks just like yours, only it has no rear suspension, and more rust! But I like what you plan to do with it - mine will look pretty similar except for some white wheels I think…

By the way, to make your signature work, remove the space between the end of the link, and the tag - that should take care of it…

looks like a great project, I reckon tornado red will be fine but I guess you can't really tell 'till its on….
