Hello .......... Irish Newbie

Hello,

I've been reading the forms with interest for a while now and I thought it was time that I sign up. Based in Dublin at the moment and currently selling my car in order to (hopefully) finance the purchase of a Mk1 (preferably a tin-top). Couple of things to consider really, primarily that I would be using this as a daily driver and I'm not sure if it is entirely practical. I have been window shopping every day for the last month in the classifieds and evertime I see a nice tin-top rebuild I nearly jump on a plane, cross the water and purchase it on the spot.

Anyway I'm trying to keep my emotions in check for the time been but I'm sure I will be asking a multitude of questions, many of which have already been asked and answered so hopefully you guys won't loose patience.

Anyway look forward to talking with you guys sooner rather then later.
