Hello, Im new.

Hi everyone. Im Gareth and I live up north near Manchester. I recently bought a VW Golf 4+E 1991 (is this classed as a mk1?) model and have a few problems with it and thought I might beable to find some solutions here. Its my first car and havn't got much of a clue about it so I geuss here is a good place to start to learn. The clutch went on it about a week ago and i had to pay ?250 for it to be repaired 8O. At night when I turn the lights on and rev the engine, the lights flicker slightly any ideas what could be causing this problem?

Unless its a convertible (or rarely a Citigolf), 1991 sounds like a Mk2. Welcome anyway....
