I just got hold of my first Mk1 at the weekend. Mars Red, S.O.R.N for nearly five years, many owners but reasonably low mileage and no terminal rust

It's a 1982 Gti 1.8 btw.

My daily is a '90 spec 8v Gti and Ifound about this site through vwgolfmk2.co.uk

Been looking around the site and it seems the business. Nice that.
