Hello from the Midlands

Hi all I am Robert from just outside Lichfield..
Had a Golf GTI Cab. Mk1 for a while now and got it on the road on Saturday!!! 10 miles later engine seized..:-(
so whilst searching for a replacement/ repair I came upon this site and after reading some of the posts I felt amongst friends..
I will try to help others but I really think it will be the other way around……. so a big THANKS in  advance….

hi there fellow midlander welcome to the forum :) get yourself over to the regional section there is a staffordshire meet where you will be able to meet all the local mk1ers :D

and i can see your going to need to buy some parts for your car so why not become a paid member the discount you will get at the various companies listed on the left will soon pay for itself :D

Hello and welcome fellow midlander !!! we have by far the biggest and best regional section here (got my running shoes on for the backlash on that) but never mind, like matt has said get into the regional section and see whats going on and not forgetting our AGm in july just up the road from you in Uttoxeter so no excuses lol.

As for the discounts £15 membership fee you'll have that back in one transaction with ECP just ask our club sec he saved over £38 enough said,

Cheers Dave.

Cheers, Dave.

welcome aboard Mate, there is plenty going on here.
So just put up the Questions you need answering and don't forget to look at the sticky's at the top of the sections, the list of how to's and of course the search facility. It's surprising what you will find..

Look out in the regional for meets, should start to pick up soon as the better weather comes in and of course the AGM.
