Hello from Sussex

Hi joined a month ago, here is pics of my car, the first couple are of sorting out the rust on the door, then the red bits on the grill.

Mk1 1800 gti '83 Y not campaign, but with all the campaign extras like trip computer etc. The guy I bought it from has kept it garaged for the past 16 years and there is no rust except the driver's door (sorted now) and round the glass on the boot lid. The underneath is like new No welding. It is the 5th golf gti i have owned, my second mk1 (last one was an X reg 1600 black)

Notice my numberplate starts in turd lol, she is anything but a crapheap tho lol
Also hence how she got the name turdy lol

Only one comment though ditch the bee sting ariel!!!! its such a 90's mod and I personally think it does'nt look good!!! other than that its a lovely straight example!! 8)
