Why I joined is because I'm looking for a blue Volkswagen Golf Mk1 74'-79' LHD since we're drive on the right side of the road :tlc:
So if you know anyone with a lightblue Golf mk1 then please send me a pm I like the swallowtail the most :p

LOL love the arrow  . 16 years old and you are into mk1 golfs??? BRILLIANT!!! Why do you want such a specific model is it something you saw in a magazine or something your parents used to own? Check the for sale sections here but not sure how you will get it to Norway being only 16 :dontknow: . I wish you luck and think it is great that you are looking at mk1's so early on as they are great cars.
Best of luck and welcome to the site

I can't remember where I saw the first one, but I think it was on the internet… Now I remember! I saw a mk1 cab for sale here in Norway and I thought it looked cool (because it was customized so it didn't have the B-post or what it's called). Then I started Google more of the mk1 and found out that the 80-83 had way to big rearlights so I started liking the 74'-79' model with small rearlights. Then I noticed the swallowtail a few years back and I thought that was way better looking than the ] shaped :p Hm.. I think I was about 12 when this began.. My parents actually owned a 76' GTI if I remember correctly, but that was before my time unfortunatley..
I've checked it, but I couldnt find anything :/
There's this new thing called parents ;D My dad said that he'd rather buy one from another country than buy a project here in Norway :p
Thank you

Hi there! Welcome 8)
How fab that you want a MK1 for your first car! My son was given a Mars red 79 Series 1 a couple of years before he passed his test. He's 22 in a couple of weeks and is still driving it because he loves it so much! 8)
Brilliant that you have the support of your family in finding your dream car and getting it home. Keep us posted!
Oh, and your English is just fine

Just be careful of rust mate and make sure you view the car thoroughly before you buy it. Can't beleive you're 16 looking at a mk1… we have a fair few young followers on here. If you have a look for the person called X he started out like yourself read his car thread in the projects section
